WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? And WHO ARE ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS THAT WANT ME TO TAKE PICTURES OF THEM?

As a Photographer, imagine this scenario. You've just purchased your first camera and are checking it out. I don't care if this is a $25.00 kodak camera or a $5000.00 Nikon. It doesn't matter. Once you've gotten tired of shooting your dog or the scenery in your backyard, you're gonna want to shoot girls. Now being the shy type that you are, you figure that you can go down to the local modeling agency and hire a girl to shoot. It hasn't occurred to you that you could ask your next-door neighbor. Anyway, you're standing in a modeling agency and they ask for your portfolio. What's that? As you stammer thru an explanation of why you don't have a portfolio, you notice that the receptionist is becoming increasingly less friendly. You walk out with your tail between your legs and when you recover from the cruel laughter coming from the agency door, you go home.

The New Faces Camera Club is your salvation. After checking out our website, you decide to come on down. You find the park and you sign up for the shoot. You can't believe all the beautiful models standing around waiting for you to take their picture. You are in 7^th heaven. You find that for a small fee, you can shoot one model all day or you can shoot many models all day long. Even if you had a portfolio, the agency wouldn't let you do that. The only restriction placed on you by the photo shoot people is that you CANNOT sell any thing you shoot without getting a release from the model first. New Faces, you guys are great! There are even other sponsors telling you where to go on days when New Faces is not having shoots. You can do this every weekend! There are other photographers with the same interests and the knowledge is abundant and FREE. Everything you ever wanted to learn about your camera is right here. Life is Good! You rush home and download your digital camera into your computer and start printing all the pictures you shot today. At the next event, you give these prints to the models that look at you like you're really a great guy. Oh Yeah! Life is good. You even print some of these prints for yourself and create you own portfolio. Hey! Wasn't that your problem in the first place? You get up your courage and go back to the agency. Now they are friendly because you have a portfolio. But when you see the prices, you decide to keep coming to photo shoots to show your dedication to New Faces and to continue collecting those beautiful smiles. Good Job!
